Maybe he really also thought about reading the book when The Cure mentioned in an interview that Killing An Arab was based on that Camus book. He also probably thought that the book was literally about killing Arabs.
Oh yah, that first single from THE CURE which was based on Camus's The Stranger. I didn't think of that. Dubya would not get the irony, though.
